- Based in the beautiful Vanoise National Park
- Fantastic scenic location
- Numerous outdoor activities
Welcome to Sut Ski, an independently owned chalet company
based in the
beautiful Vanoise National Park, close to the resorts
of Val D’Isere and Tignes. During
the summer months we offer luxury self catered accommodation and catered activity weeks at Chalet L’eperviere
in the picturesque and tranquil hamlet of Le Chevril.
The chalet commands a fantastic scenic location overlooking the “Lac
du Chevril” and is positioned approximately 700m
from the nearest village
of Les Boisses and about 6 minutes by car to Val d’Isere and 8 minutes
to Tignes. Italy is accessible via the famous Col D’Iseran or
the Petite Col St Bernard, both a favourite with bikers.
Originally built 50 years ago on three separate levels to accommodate the
engineers building the Tignes dam, the
Chalet has since been converted
with the two top floors now made into one chalet sleeping six people
and the ground floor a separate apartment sleeping four.
The Chalet faces due south and weather permitting has the benefit of two sun soaked balconies and terrace from approximately 9.30 in the morning; views across the lake to the mountains and glaciers beyond are stunning.
Summer Activities
Situated in the heart of the breathtaking Vanoise National Park, a variety
of
summer activities are literally on your doorstep. From the chalet
you can head off through the forest to the beautiful, tranquil hamlet of
Monal or start climbing up the mountain behind towards La Sassiere.
There is walking to suit all abilities from a gentle stroll around any of the numerous lakes to a few days trek through the mountains to Italy.
Imagine the warmth of the glorious sun on your face, hear the mountain streams tumbling down to the valley below and picture the abundance of wild flowers and animals. Look out for the shy Chamois and the grand Bouquetin, listen for the whistle of the Marmottes and the hum of the grasshoppers bouncing at your feet.
Other activities
Hiking is just one of many activities that you can do whilst visiting
the region. Other activities include:
Road and Mountain Biking
Skiing on the Glaciers
Fishing
Rafting, canoeing, kayaking
Climbing (there is a climbing area directly
behind the chalet)
